The casino was developed as part of an extensive new building measure in the center of Duisburg and is a part of the urban development project drawn up by Sir Norman Foster’s master plan for Duisburg. Therefore, the realization of the project \u2013 especially the sophisticated interior design concepts \u2013was important for the city.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Challenge<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Within a month, the entire casino and restaurant area should be re-designed with the highest quality to be performed in the painting, as should result through the participation of the famous architect, Sir Norman Foster. The casino is intended to function as a prestige showcase for all of Germany.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Solution<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The most important criterion for the client was to achieve the desired quality and compliance with the completion date. For this, the client had a clear contract designed both to meet the deadlines as well as remuneration for services performed. These had already required appropriate logistics and planning work in advance. The delivery cycles had to be coordinated exactly with the material suppliers, since extensive material stocks at the building site, through the cramped conditions and the downtown location, were not possible. The material processing was thus from the trucks off-loading to be just-in-time for use or installation.<\/p>\n\n\n

Our “Deco and Design” team was responsible for the fine painting and had taken over the organizational and technical implementation. Sophisticated design and surface smoothing techniques were performed using special coating equipment and tools. The well-established, reliable team was able to guarantee not only the visual outcome but also the timely construction progress. Thus, all criteria were met to the satisfaction of the client.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
